Wallet top-up can be done anytime. This is to ensure you never run out of wallet balance, to ensure the smooth running of your project.
You can top up your account using either card, account transfer or USSD top up. To top-up your wallet using any of these methods, navigate to the Billing page of your account and click on the Top Up Wallet button.
How to Top-up using Card
- Click on Card at the bottom of the modal
- Enter the amount, card number, card expiry date and CVV of your card, and click on Pay
- You will be taken to another screen to enter the card pin and pay
- An OTP will be sent to the phone number attached to the card, enter the OTP on the screen and click on Validate OTP
- If top up is successful, a success message shows and your account is debited immediately
How to Top-up using Bank Account
- Click on Bank Account at the bottom of the modal
- Select your Bank from the list displayed
- Enter your Phone number and the amount you want to top up and click on the Pay button
- You will be redirected to Online Banking to authenticate and complete the payment
- Authorize transaction and if top up is successful, then your account will be debited and your wallet credited.
How to Top-up using USSD (Coming soon)
This is a new payment method where users can top up their wallet using USSD codes. To top up using USSD:
- Click on USSD at the bottom of the modal
- Enter the amount to be paid, the bank, account number and phone number
- Click on the Pay button
- An instruction will be displayed to show the USSD code to be dialed to complete the process
- Dial the USSD code from the phone number provided. Upon successful debit your wallet will be topped up.
