Captures can be done online and offline. This ensures you never have to stop capturing data even in remote areas. The application continually attempts to save captured data to the BioRegistra backend in the background and this attempt stops when it is finally able to connect over the internet to save the record.
Note that the capture device needs to be connected to the internet the first time the application is launched. Also ensure the device time is correct. A silent device tagging happens in the background, this enables the system to recognize the device whenever it saves records.
Also, the agent will need to be connected to the internet for the sign in into the project. Subsequently, the device caches the details of the project and the user can sign in to capture offline. When there are modifications to the project on the portal, the agent will need to login online to pull the latest project version.
