The application is not recognizing my Fingerprint Scanner


During fingerprint capture, you will need to connect your fingerprint scanner. The BioRegistra application currently accepts only the Futronic FS80H scanner. Ensure that the correct scanner is connected. If you are doing the capture on an Android device, double check that the OTG cable used is working and connected properly, also confirm that the Android device is OTG enabled, as not all Android devices can power a Fingerprint Scanner.

If you are still unable to see the fingerprint scanner on a Windows capture client, this could also be linked to the absence of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2002 Redistributable package. Follow the steps in this section above “The capture app has refused to install on my Windows desktop device/Android Mobile Device” to install and download the package.
